United Students Against Sweatshops is a diverse network of student organizers concerned with the rights and conditions of workers everywhere. Our flagship sweat-free campus campaign supports strategic efforts to increase respect garment workers' rights. USAS has made historic and unprecedented gains in grassroots campaigns to support garment workers' worldwide. Our summer internship program places students abroad with worker rights organizations. We have contacts on over 300 campuses around the country, and thousands of active students leading efforts on campuses for social justice.

While USAS made its name by fighting sweatshop conditions, we are committed to fighting labor exploitation of all kinds. USAS coordinates a successful national campus living wage campaign and fighting for workers to have safe environments to make their voices heard on campus. Campus affiliates are organizing with workers and unions for living wages, the right to organize, and affordable health care.

We have conferences that bring students from around the country together to educate and energize each other; we have three full-time staff that do the difficult work of coordinating our campaigns and working with allies in student organizing and labor rights; and we regularly send students to factories around the world so they learn firsthand from the inspiring workers fighting the battle against sweatshops on the front lines.
